Grantwriting 101 for Small Businesses
AEDF, in collaboration with Hamilton Simons-Jones, founder and principal at ResourceFull Consulting, invites small business owners and new nonprofits to join us for a hands-on grantwriting workshop. Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your knowledge, this session will equip you with the tools you need to confidently apply for grants and receive funding.
This workshop will cover:
- Commonly used grant terminology, such as understanding the difference between outputs and outcome
- How to create a compelling narrative that tells your unique business story and aligns with your grant proposal
- Hands-on time to draft a grant brief for your business or nonprofit
- Takeaway materials to guide you in future applications
Hamilton Simons-Jones will lead this interactive session, providing expert insights and real-world examples to help you succeed. You'll leave with a strong foundation in grantwriting and practical tools you can apply right away.
